The only official arrival hubs are Vienna International Airport (VIE), M. R. Štefánik Airport Bratislava (BTS) and Bratislava Central Train Station. The only official departure hubs are Václav Havel Airport Prague (PRG) and Prague Central Train Station.

How to get to Bratislava

  • From Prague by train: Direct trains to Bratislava Central Train Station depart from Prague Central Train Station every two hours, the journey takes 4-5 hours. The exact departure times are to be found on the Czech Railways, Slovakrail and RegioJet website.
  • From Prague by bus: Direct buses to Bratislava Main Bus Station (Mlýnské Nivy) depart from Prague Main Bus Station (Florenc) ca. every hour. The journey takes 4-5 hours. The exact departure times are to be found on the RegioJet, Flixbus and Slovak Lines website, From Bratislava Main Bus Station (Mlynské Nivy) you need to take a local trolley bus no. 210 to Bratislava Central Train Station (6 stops).
  • From Prague by plane: There are direct flights from Václav Havel Airport Prague to  M. R. Štefánik Airport Bratislava operated by Czech Airlines on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The flight takes one hour.
  • From Vienna by bus: Direct buses to Bratislava Main Bus Station (Mlýnské Nivy) or to M. R. Štefánik Airport Bratislava depart from Vienna Südtiroler Platz or Vienna Ergberg (VIB). The journey takes ca. 1 hour. The exact departure times are to be found on the RegioJet, Flixbus  and Slovak Lines website.
  • From Vienna by train: Direct trains to Bratislava Central Train Station depart from Vienna Central Train Station ca. every hour, the journey takes ca. 1 hour. The exact departure times are to be found on the Slovakrail website.
