Hello! Welcome to Slovakia and Czech Republic for the 50^th International Chemistry Olympiad!

My name is Veronika Garbárová and not only am I going to be only your guide, but also your friend during this event. I’m 22 years old and I was born and grew up in Slovakia, but I have spent last 4 years in Prague where I study chemistry at the Charles University. My hobbies are music, books, theatre and hiking. I like learning about other countries, so I hope you will tell me everything about Azerbaijan!

I want to congratulate you for being selected to participate at ICHO and I wish you the best luck at the competition! I hope you will enjoy your time in Bratislava and Prague and gain a lot of friends and memories.
